Welcome to Visual Access to Mathematics (VAM)!

A math course for teachers of students who are English learners.

Through this blended online and face-to-face course, participating educators will deepen their understanding of mathematical visual representations for rational number and ratio and proportion tasks, analyze technology-based and other artifacts of ELs’ mathematical thinking, and learn strategies that support ELs. The course is designed primarily for grades 5-8 mathematics teachers and EL specialists.
